OFS offers young people, aged 16 to 21 a home and support whilst they acquire the skills they need to live independently in London. The scheme relies on householders also referred to as Hosts. These are people from the local community who have a room in their homes and lives to help a vulnerable young person. The service is also provided to Foreign Students who are visiting UK for a gap year or on brief visit for sightseeing.
Our hosts provide a safe living environment. They also offer a listening ear, guidance, and teach practical living skills such as cooking and cleaning. Both young people and householders are given ongoing support by OFS staff throughout the duration of the stay.
Households can comprise of a single person, a couple, or a family with children. The young person will live as part of the household. A thorough matching process takes place before the young person moves in to ensure that both parties are comfortable with the living arrangements. This may involve several meetings and is facilitated and fully supported by OFS.
Our fees are negotiable depending on the nature of the service required and length of our contract. Please contact the team on 02035814647 / 07961296373 for bespoke price
